After growing up in the beautiful surroundings of the Sussex countryside in England, the outdoors has always played an essential part of life. My love for Exploration has only got stronger as I have got older, but I have only recently coupled this with my creative side to take photos of my Adventures.

I have always struggled with my anxiety over the years, so travel was never a priority for me growing up, in fact I tried everything to avoid it. As I have equipped myself with the mental tools to deal with anxiety however, I have embraced things that have pushed me well outside my comfort zone and have allowed me to travel to the far reaches of our Beautiful Planet Earth for experiences I once thought impossible.

I love this quote by J.R.R. Tolkien; ‘Not all those who wander are lost.” I use this  as my mantra for solo travel, another area that I always been so nervous to try, and after several failed attempts, I managed to make the leap and book a solo trip around rural China some years ago. It turned out to be the best thing I ever did and has now given me the confidence to travel alone, even if I do sometimes look like I’m lost, I’m lost with purpose.
