No. Some adventures cost more than others, and I’m not trying to pretend every destination can be done for £20 a day. Where useful, I’ll share what things actually cost me, where I think spending more was worthwhile and where you can potentially save.
I’ll give you the real costs and information available from my own trip or research, but travel prices, exchange rates, entrance fees and operator prices can change quickly. Think of them as a useful real-world reference rather than a guaranteed future price.
Your dashboard keeps the Base Camp content released during your membership together in one place, so you can return to it whenever you need it. Membership doesn’t automatically unlock Dispatches published before you joined.
Yes. There’s no long-term commitment. You can cancel your monthly or annual membership through your account, and your membership will continue until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
You’ll keep full access to Base Camp until the end of your current paid membership period. After that, access to your dashboard and Dispatch archive will end. If you decide to come back in the future, you’ll always be welcome back at Base Camp.
Base Camp membership is for one person. You’re welcome to use the information to help plan your own adventures, but memberships, Dispatches, guides, photography and downloadable resources shouldn’t be copied, republished or shared.
